Jelly Roll Wreath Class

We went to Paducah, Kentucy earlier this year to attend the AQS Quilt Show.  I took a class from Cheryl Sleboda, who is a local quilt shop owner in Kentucky.  Her shop is  named Muppins and if you’re in Paducah, be sure to stop in, her shop is very unique with one of a kind projects.  The class was for this adorable Jelly Roll Wreath!!

It was easy to make, especially with the fabric tube maker, and took us about 3 hours to complete.  There were several in the class and the variety of wreath’s was amazing! We had such a good time in the class I thought I needed to share the joy!

You can make the wreath a basic, go with color, and make several bows to interchange, or just go hog-wild and make a wreath for every season.  Once you make one, you will want to make another!

The class fee will include the pattern, the fabric tube maker and the 2-1/2″ batting strips.  You will need to bring 3 fat quarters for the wreath and bow or 7 yards of 2-1/2″ x 22″ strips.  Keep in mind if you bring strips, you still need fabric for the bow!

I would rate this somewhere between beginner and intermediate on a skill level even if you have never worked with this type of tool

This class will be held at the Quilt With A Heart retreat center in Priddy, Texas, which, is located in between somewhere and nowhere in the center of Texas! We are centrally located in this great big state and are approximately 2 hours from anywhere significant in any direction you go, i.e., 2 hours to Austin, Ft.Worth, Waco, San Angelo, Abilene, Fredericksburg, you get the picture!

The cost of the class is $40.00. This fee covers the cost of the pattern, tool, and batting required for the project.
