This show is an every other year show and the quilts to the left were all made by Helen Utay from Katy, Texas within the past two years. She entered them in the 2016 show and received several honors. The quilt that received the Reserve Best of Show award was a quilt she designed using her sons ties, very clever use of ties no longer worn! She also received several blue ribbons and a NACQJ Merit Award, Judge’s Choice Award, and Best Machine Quilting. It was truly a banner, eh, ribbon winning weekend for Helen!!! Congratulations!!
