It’s that time of year again, time for Winter Retreat!!! This year we will be using the Soft Focus pattern by Sew Kind of Wonderful

I have not yet completed by sample, but it is similar to the picture, but I will be sharing  my finished top soon! 

You will need to bring your own fabrics for this retreat, once you register, I will send you the fabric requirements.  You will need the Wonder Curve Ruler to complete this project.  Use the drop down menu at checkout to purchase the ruler along with your reservation if you need one and it will be here when you arrive!

I not sure if you will be able to finish the project with time left over for another project but if you come for the early bird, feel free to bring extra projects to work on OR you an shop for an extra project!  This quilt finishes at 67 x 67.

I would rate this somewhere between beginner and intermediate on a skill level even if you have never worked with this ruler.

This year’s retreat will again be held at the Quilt With A Heart retreat center in Priddy, Texas, which, is located in between somewhere and nowhere in the center of Texas! We are centrally located in this great big state and are approximately 2 hours from anywhere significant in any direction you go, i.e., 2 hours to Austin, Ft.Worth, Waco, San Angelo, Abilene, Fredericksburg, you get the picture!

The cost of the retreat is $250.00. This fee covers the cost of the two night stay, the quilt pattern and meals. The menu has not yet been decided but it will be yummy and  there will be plenty to eat! Bring your own snacks and favorite drinks, coffee and tea will be provided. If you would like to come a day early to get set up, you can come on Thursday afternoon for an additional $40.00 fee.
