The following quilts were quilts that I quilted that were entered in the Austin Area Quilt Guild sponsored, Capital of Texas Quilt Fest 2012 in Austin, Texas. The winners were selected by a panel of National Quilt Association certified judges. There were approximately 350 quilts entered in this year’s show. The Best of Show winning quilt, Ruffled Roses, was pieced by Mary Clendennen, hand appliqued by Angela Steiner and quilted by me! This was sooooo exciting!!! 1st -3rd place ribbons were awarded in each of the 13 categories along with Judge’s Choice, Best Use of Color, Best, Design and Best Machine & Hand Quilting awards. This quilt also received the Machine Quilting Award!!! The other quilts received ribbons in their category. I have captioned them with their piecer’s name. Very nice show!!!
