This quilt was made by Kitty Miller from the Austin, Texas area. It is named “May Flowers” and was entered in the 2010 Austin Area Quilt Guild Quilt Show and Sale held on the weekend of September 17-19th, 2010. Her quilt was entered in the Applique’ Large Quilt Division, Two person quilt and received a 2nd place ribbon in it category and the award for Machine Quilting, which she so graciously shared the ribbon with me!
This quilt was also entered in the 2011 Heart of Texas Quilt Show in Brownwood, Texas and received a 1st place ribbon in the Judged Division, Applique/Machine Quilted category, and the Judge’s Favorite Overall. It also received a third place ribbon in the Viewer’s Choice, Applique/Machine Quilted category.
